The Role

BSH AU Key Account Managers are responsible for developing and overseeing mutually profitable, strategic relationships with Australia’s leading home appliance retailers. Applications for both Vic and NSW based positions are welcome

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Key Account customers' head offices, encompassing a wide range of multi-department stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of BSH sales, product and marketing strategies by presenting market insight and customer feedback to the BSH business
  • Conceive and implement key account plans to drive the strategic growth objectives of BSH AU
  • Negotiate retailer core ranging, price conditions and go-to-market initiatives to optimize sales opportunities 
  • Provide BSH business with collaborative, rolling retailer demand forecasting
  • Contribute to the development of the Key Account Management team by providing open, critical thoughts and ideas on business-relative topics
  • Grow BSH brands’ local market share whilst delivering on global profit targets
  • Frequently undertake customer business reviews to ensure mutual goals are being both set and achieved 
  • Present focus updates to the BSH field sales team for implementation at retailer store level
  • Regular interstate travel required

Desired Skills and Experience

Your skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years national key account management experience is required 
  • Additional sales experience in the home appliances industry is preferred  
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are highly desired
  • A positive, entrepreneurial growth mind set
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and influence key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • History of quality, proactive customer relationship management 
  • Experience achieving sales KPIs
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Inspirational presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Power BI would also be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
