About our program:
Are you seeking a hands-on Industry-Based Learning Placement? Join our paid student program and immerse yourself in real-world business challenges within our Australian operations. This opportunity is designed to integrate your academic studies with practical experience, providing transformative exposure across various business disciplines.
Explore the range of tasks on offer as part of the Supply Chain Distribution role:
Assist in KPI reporting and analysis
Updating container arrival dates and coordinating container deliveries
Handling import documentation requirements
Monitoring inventory discrepancies
Outbound delivery coordination including exception handling
Resolving proof of delivery queries
Assisting with returned products
Supplier invoice validation
Investigating inventory discrepancies
Working with external service providers in improving the quality of deliveries
Cost optimization and process improvement and/or automation
Use data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software) to analyze trends, patterns, and key insights
Analysis and reporting of KPI’s as required
Collaborate with team members to create project documentation, including project plans, communications, status reports, and presentation materials

Desired Skills and Experience
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Currently studying and undertaking a placement as part of a Supply Chain Logistics / Commerce degree (or similar)
Ability to build and maintain productive and positive relationships within a diverse environment.
Ability and willingness to seek information, apply context, and share knowledge.
High level of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate MS Excel knowledge (Desirable)
